Oil change opinion
I always just scratch a little paint off as a reference mark so I can tell when I get to 1 complete turn after the gasket makes contact. Maybe you can tell by looking at it. If it isn't dirty, or if there is a trickle of oil running down the side where they lubed up the gasket and then a little oil ran down the side because it is tilted slightly.
lol at stealerships.
Just talked to said family member again and asked if the stealership mentioned anything about the oil filter. She said "The dealership said you had a brand new car, so they didn't need to change the filter. They said you only need to change the filter once every 15,000 to 20,000 miles" [:'(]
Oh my freaking goodness.

Well there you go. Take it back in and have them put a new filter on it. They should have changed it. Tell them to do it or you will do it and shove it up someone's ***.

And then I saw the part about the filter... Better change everything back to suit your preferences. Lord knows WHAT they put in there. Frickin' dealerships... You'd think they employee chimps.
