Default New Mods on the way (Couple Pics)

Normally I don't post any thing up until its installed. But I'm just so dam excited. I have lots of new mods coming this month and next. I'll be sure to post pics and clips once done. Here's what is going in

MAC LT + Prochamber with a couple Magnaflow cats welded in
Airaid CAI
Chrome 17x9 bullets with Falken Ziex 255/50 front and 275/50 rear
TMI Mach1 seat covers
Some MGW billtet interior pieces, actually working on a retro radio idea using my shaker
FRPP Hot Rom Cams, on the preorder list with SuttonHP
Steeda delete plates

My car was last making 300rwhp with my K&N, tune, and current exhaust. Since then I've added my 4.10s but have not dynoed it. I'll probably be dynoing it next month when the long tubes, Prochamber and Airaid are in. Then the cams will follow shortly after. So its going to be a little tough to benchmark what my gains are with the headers.

I should just buy a dyno......

Gears shouldn't have any effect on your rwhp

No the gears shouldn't reduce the hp but it will show it a touch lower on a dyno graph. I think the general rule was like 2-3%.
So even though the car got 300rwhp on stock gears, it would read now "290 as an example". Even though the car is really putting
out 300.

That's the way its been explained to me. So maybe I'm wrong on this.

Well on a dynojet the hp is affected, but the dyno that is near where I live is australian made and reads about 15-16% lower than a dynojet and on this type of dyno the caluclation for torque and horsepower is different. The dynojet that is used here in America mostly was formatted around a motorcycle's tuning as the man told me that runs the dyno at the shop I use here in north georgia where I live, and he said the dynojet is a good dyno, but the numbers from it are calculated to match certain other numbers and through time the measuring of hp and torque has become skewed. Think about it though...you change nothing that would raise rwhp at all...and aren't adding any weight....so why would rwhp decrease from gears or even increase? The gears add no weight to slow down the rotating of the wheels...they only speed it up...but speeding up the rotating wheels during acceleration doesn't equal more rwhp...or lessOnly thing that can equal more rwhp is less weight in the driveline, or engine modifications

Well my MGW pieces came in today. I'm trying to bring back retro ideas to my car, but tastefully. I've always liked chrome inside a car, especially the old fashion radio *****. So I started to try to find a way to fit a billet **** on the right side of my shaker. Basically two billet *****. I got it done today I have to admit it looks pretty cool. Different at least. I took 2 photos with my crappy cell phone tonight. The pics didn't come out great. So I photoshoped one from MGW's stock photo. You'll get the idea.

My two pics

My photochop version

I'll try to take some daylight photos this weekend to see my actual setup.
