Paint inside boomtubes and do your tubes drone?
First off let me say thanks to hardcoremustangs for overnighting boomtubes to me before I leave for a few weeks for a great $40 extra. Another cali company quoted me $110 extra to overnight.. Yikes.
Anyways, I can't stand the spiderwebs growing in my boomtubes. Oh wait, those are baffles. Well, ugly. Do you think high-temp black paint on the inside would fix this? Or still noticeable?
Also... I get a slight slight drone. Is this normal? My Loudmouths didn't drone at all, and the stockers for the past few days did not either, so this barely-there amount of drone is noticeable to me. Is it normal or should I tighten nut more?
So yeah, if you anyone cares, the boomtubes are the perfect alternative if you think loudmouths are too loud. The boomtubes are very loud, no doubt, but if you think the loudmouths are "just a tad too loud" then the boomtubes may fall right into your liking.

I have boomtubes but never thought about painting the inside of them. Guess because the inside is not really noticeable unless you're down there looking straight into them. But to answer your question...high temp paint should work just fine.

read the can it should tell you the operating temperatures on the can. It should say how hot it can handle with out burning off.
if u really cared take a temperature probe to ur exhaust after a long drive.

I like the look of the spider web inside of the pipes. They do have a little drone but for me its usually only for a few seconds and then its gone mostly driving around in the city. maybe its the way I drive/shift. on the highway they do not drone at all.
