Default Oh no! Cloudy spot on my Paint!

Shined the car up today. Everything looking good but while it was in the garage I noticed a cloudy spot on the top rear 1/4" panel right next to the trunk. Not really noticable in the sunlight but you can see it in artificial light. Looks like it could be oxidation. How in the world could I have oxidation already?!? The car is only a year old and I keep it waxed. Thinking maybe I need a clay bar or something but still seems like it shouldn't be happening this soon. Wondering if it was that way when I took delivery but never noticed. I heard that Ford has been known to have inperfections in their paint. Anyway I would love to get some insight from you guys...

Try a clay bar, and if that doesn't work, then take it and see what the dealer has to say. I know they've warrantied the paint on some guy's hoods, they might handle this??

Either way, let us know how you make out, and good luck!!

Screaming Yellow (and Grabber Orange) are very difficult to get right and will almost always have a few imperfections. These are, after all, Fords. Not Bentleys!

These cars are Fords - We should expect them to be poorly constructed in every way. That is why we buy them...

Thanks guys....I thought as much. The paint is pretty good except for that one spot. Really can only see it in certain light conditions. I can't see it at all now during the day. Maybe I'll hit it with a clay bar on my next wash...

I like the 1/4" clearcoat blob that ishanging
off the front drivers side corner of my hood.
I know which way the hood was orientated when it was painted.

I had the same thing on my 07 Grabber GT, on the left front of the hood, I tried everything and nothing took it out, it was slightly better but never came off!! SORRY
