Gas Guzzler Tax
Don't complain!
I think it's like that because the Shelby GT costs more and falls into the bracket. I think, and this is my personal opinion... That they put extra tax on more expensive vehicles that don't meet the requirements... but why tax a vehicle that is $25k?
My only other thought is due to the Bullitt computers ability to adjust for different octane it has a better fuel economy rating and thus doesn't require a gas guzzler tax.

I know that was the reason for making the 3.55:1 gear ratio an option other wisethe gas guzzler taxwould have been on all mustangs. Perhaps the bullit is counted with all the other mustangs and the shelby gt is not.
