I was at my local Ford dealer getting the recall taking care of.. I was asking about the warranty and such.. I asked about adding a SuperCharger.. They gave the usual stuff.. They said if it cause the Service Engine Soon light comes on and it faults out something, its out of my pocket.. Would and could anyone explain what they are refering to?? What other issues it may cause and is there a fix?? Thanks ahead of time..

 

The FRPP non intercooled version of the whipple, if installed by a ford dealer, retains the complete warranty. Most idiot salesmen have no clue.

 

Hmm.....I don't know. I changed out the whole motor and used the same computer and didn't have any trouble with the SES light. Didn't have any problem with my 4.6L when I put the K.B. on it.

I guess what I'm saying is I've modded mine pretty drastically and never had any problem with the SES so I'm not sure how realistic that statement is.

Yeah don't get me wrong, I aint going in for warranty work anytime soon!

Just saying I never had any SES light problems! Not sure if I've ever read any posts from any of the FI guys that did.
