Is it just me, or do people with autos come off as a bit insecure?

Awesome car, the track times speak for themselves.

 

Not dissing Autos...but it really depends on the driver. A not-so-good manual driver has no chance against the Auto for sure. But a bad-a$$ manual driver could surely take lead over the auto if he knows his stuff Either way...these S197 Autos are tough to compete now...very impressive. I never wanted an Auto Mustang until I drove the new S197 Auto, I was impressed and shock at the consistant shift speeds!!!

I would never pay for one of those 427r Roush cars.
They are way overpriced for what you get. If I paid all that and only went 12.20 I'd be very unhappy.
Sticks are fun but autos win drag races!

 

I swear the more I read this site.. I am starting to regret getting the 5 speed. Since everyone seems to think the autos are actually faster.

 

its because they dont know how to drive 5 speed so they think autos are faster.

I can agree an auto is fater but thats when you start getting down into 9's 10's and maybe even low 11'ss in the quarter

If my situation were different when I bought mineI would have got a 5 speed. But, I have an auto and it's great!
