I don't think they give a s***, seriously. You have a new car with nohistory of repairs at that place, why commit? They're franchise chains anyway, so it is more of a personal preference or convenience of location.I go to the dealer where I bought the car only because they gave me a coupon book for free 3000mi oil changes for 2 yrs. If it wasn't for that - I would just go to the closest onefor any issues and would change the oil myself. :-)

I have an old Ford place down the street, maybe 20 minute walk away. But i take my car all the way to the dealership (20 minute+ drive) where I got it because I bought the prepaid service plan, for no charge on all oil changes and the services. Plus, they have a huge comfortable waiting area at their Jaguar/ Volvo showroom across the street, with a Starbucks, flatscreen tv, lots of magazines, tables, etc.
The place around the corner from me has 2 old vinyl chairs and a black & white tv!

I bought my car from a dealership that's 50 minutes away. I took the car to a local dealer that's only 5 miles away and I asked them to fix the leaking brake reservoir cap and the rubber molding on the passenger side roof whcih had a crease in it and was not sealing right.

At the time the only mods I had on the car was a CAI, the CDC classic chin spoiler and UDPs. The dealer refused to honor my warranty because I had modified the car. I told them that they had to honor it but they still refused. I called Ford and they told me to file a complaint. I called the BB bureau and nothing. If the dealer want to be a d1ck they will and there's nothing you can do about it.

The dealer was Country ford in Levittown NY. Avoid them like the plague.

I went back to the dealer where I purchased the car (Able Ford in Rockville Ctr, LI) and they were fantastic. They loved what I've done to the car and every time I bring it in with more mods they are excited and treat me well. They said they would install any mod I want and honor it under warranty. I go to them for everything now enventhough it is very difficult to go there and drop the car off.
