When your rear license plate was installed at the dealer , did they screw it directly into the bumper or did they drill holes and install plastic fittings that the plate screws go into? I think my dealer did it the wrong way and just screwed the bolts directly into the bumper.

Mine is screwed directly into the bumper cover.

Just screwed straight into the plastic.

did myself when I converted to the GT500 rear bumper... screwed directly into the bumper.
