BoomTube owners please respond
OK, put the BoomTubes on and they sound AWESOME (stock exhaust). I then come across the youtube vid with the o/r prochamber and boomtubes, my question are these:
How well would the car respond/sound with the prochamber that works with the stock cats?
Would it be beneficiary to replace the stock cats with hi-flow cats, according to info regarding Kooks LTHs their hi-flow cats (would replace mine with magnaflows or???) are so good that they claim their offroad setup would be worth 2-3 HP over a catted system?
I know that statement is with their longtube headers but wouldnt the same principals apply by replacing stock cats with hi-flows, just different HP loss/gains?
Does anyone run LTH with cats, prochamber and the boomtubes?
My stang is lowered and we do emissions testing every year and its already a pain to get under the car to work on it as it is and I do not have access to a lift so for me its not just a 30 minute job to put the stock piece back on if I had the o/r setup, more like half a day (I'm 40 and work slower now).
