Default I need some paint experts.

I think I've decided on the Roush front fascia(thanks to everyone's feedback). I can get the kit online for $630 non-painted, or $980 painted. For those who have had your front bumper painted, what did it cost?

I'm almost positive I could get the front painted for less than $300, so it would make more sense to buy the kit unpainted. It almost seems worth it to buy the kit pre-painted though, that way I can receive my kit, and just bolt it on.

What do you guys think?

id get it painted elsewhere.. you dont know what quality the paint is, there could be damage during shipping, they will install it for you if u get it painted elsewhere. although 300 for paint isnt bad

I'm pretty sure I could get someone locally to paint it cheaper than $300.On the other hand though, I think I'd trust Roush to paint it more than I would anyone here in Arkansas, haha

Well looks like you have your answer! Just make sure you give them the make and colr with the paint code for your car so if it is wrong and doesn't match for some reason you can send it back....should be an easy match and for 300 dollars it is a deal IMO....

I have a Cervinis front bumper but have stripes painted and it cost 800 dollars to paint not including the bumper cover itself......but you get what you pay for and if Roush does indeed paint them before shipping them to you I would go for it! DO NOT expect show quality but factory quality which is great for many! JMO J

Yes, Roush does paint the front fascias and paint quality was good enough for me and it matched perfectly.

I thought I remembered Pascal saying a front bumper painting would be $200-250 or something.

Just pulling it from memory but call up a shop around you and ask, they'll gladly tell you.

$350 per panel is about the going rate in my area for paint. I'd say it's fair.

And if it's directly from Roush, pre-painted, I'm sure the quality will be good. It's not like Roush is a fly-by-night company.

Depends on wich panels...
$350 for a hood is a good price for factory specs.
For a bumper, it's a little high, but it's going up anyways.

Price of paint and derivatives just about doubled the last 3 years[&:].
Body shops will have to adjust on material costs.
Meanwhile, Insurance Companies are not adjusting theirprices accordingly when they write estimates.
Umm, I wonder why?
