Does anyone know if the Tri-Ax comes with dynamat, etc to block heat and sound? If not, I'd highly suggest buying the actual mat and the tin like the MGW comes with ...

THe SN197 is a lot more expensive because there is a LOT more to it. THe old 5.0 shifters jsut bolted right to the top of the transmission, you didnt even need to go under the car to install it, you just popped off your shifter boot, undid the 4 bolts and replaced the stock one....literally took about 15 - 20 minutes, whereas teh SN197 it is a completely different mechanism.

I understand that they are different, but I hardly think a Billet aluminum arm and a uerathane bushing are worth the $150 mark up. I will chock it up to supply and demand.

No it does not come with any dynamat. If you use the stock ruber boot you probably wont need it but I bought the little dynamat extreme kit for doors. It comes in 2 13"X13" squares, you will only need one and it costs about $20
