FAST help please - electrical
Hey guys.. For those of you who were following my charging problems with the Saleen, I found the problem. The 4 ga wire that feeds the battery from the alternator worked its way loose on the post and it was arcing. So I need a new wire, it's COOKED. I'm gonna go over to the local stereo shop and have them whip one up, but I need to know something - there'sa fusible link in that wire. I need to know what it's rated at so I can put an in-line fuse in there to take it's place.
Please, the faster the help, the better, I need to put the car back together and get home. I'm at a buddy's house right now.
Thanks guys!!

What's the rating of the fuse in the existing fuse link? The new link has to be at minimum the same rating. Or you could go with a higher rated fuse link as long as its designed for 4 gauge wire and you use the same rating fuse as the old one had.
