Drives me crazy that 99/100 people can order this stuff and it is just perfect. I saw another thread pop up just now from someone who got them and LOVES them ofcourse. But as usual, I'm the 1/100 people that get a piece of junk.

 

I was probably the one who posted the thumbs-up clips. You're not alone... the first set I ordered (from a different vendor) showed up with jacked-up tips... the inside welds burned all the way through to the outside and they had a 1/2" black burn mark (no chrome) and raised dimples. Stuff happens. That vendor was real understanding and quickly refunded my money. (couldn't ship replacement as he was out of stock). So I bought 2nd set from Ninosport and they even offered to inspect set first before shipping out. They even picked up expedited freight!

 

I just got off the phone with brenspeed. They can't tell me when they'll be in stock again. Apparently the manufacturer is totally backordered with no ETA yet. So anyone who wants a set of these right now? Good luck on your order.

I elected to have brenspeed keep the order and they should ship when they get back into inventory - whenever that is. They're sending me a return shipping label so I can get the defective ones out of my garage. Pretty good size box, takes up some room so I'd rather it doesn't sit there.

Brenspeed told me that they've shipped hundreds of these over the years and not a single one has had this issue. So while I may not be alone, this is ridiculously bad luck. [&:]

I cant imagine one section of straight pipe (with resonated tips) sounds much different from another.

 

I got a hold of ninosport and they have them. I'm trying to get some from them. Hopefully the second time around they will be better because the first ones I got were horrible.

As for the loudmouths I appreciate the suggestion but there is a difference in sound and I hate how the LM's sound.
