Default Rims Pitting

I washed the car today.. I was cleaning on the rims and i noticed they are Pitting.. I started scrubbing some of the caked on crap off, and it was small pits.. I'm gonna pull each rim off and polish them up even better.. Is the pittings something i need to be concerned with?? Or is it just damage from the roads?? Any and all help would be appreciated..

The rims are chrome cast aluminum.

Once chromestarts pitting your not going to be able to remove it. A good waxing will help to remove some of the white around the pitts though.

I sent mine back and received new ones.......free. Roush warranty is either 1 or 2 years. But since I did this, I think the wheel has changed a bit, so unless you do all four they won't match.

By the way, after another year one of them started bubbling again around the center cap. Just gonna live with it now.
