So i recently went tuner shopping and i bought one on ebay. It is model VR7140 and the seller stated in the auction that it will work on V6 and GT mustangs from 05 and 06, I have an 06 GT. I searched the forums and it says these are for supercharged mustangs is that right?

My car is not supercharged and i would be gettin a tune from BAMA. Will this tuner work on my car or should i just contact seller for a refund? All i i have in the car is a C&L intake and i wanted to get a racing tune from BAMA.

i think you can still load a bama tune on there......mine is the C&L diablo and it worked just perfectly with dougs tunes

Yes, you can have Bama load a new tune to the Diablo. I purchased a Diablo tuner that only had a supercharger tune on it as well, I bought it used, and sent it to Doug at Bama and he loaded a custom tune on it for me. You can also have him e-mail the tune to you and download it yourself. You will have to buy the cables to hook the Diablo to your computer if you decide to do it this way if you don't already have them. I bought mine at Radio Shack or you can buy them from any Diablo dealer.

My Diablo is also the 7140. I do not remember off hand what supercharger tune is on it because I didn't pay a whole lot of attention to it since my Mustang doesn't have a supercharger.
