Default Question about Roush hood scoop

Does this scoop HAVE to be screwed to the hood , or will it hold just with the 3M tape? I may have an opportunity on a pre-painted scoop, but I'm really hesitant in drilling into the hood .

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Default RE: Question about Roush hood scoop

Yes, drilling is required for proper installation.
No 3M Tape onlyinstallations. It just wont sit
right on the hood and the block-off panel
wont fit right either. There will be gaps
between the hood and scoop that you wont
be able to eliminate with 3M Tape only.
There are just no 3M tape flanges in the front
part of the scoop. See picture below. []
It will catch the wind and be ripped off leaving
more damage than 7 measly mounting holes. [>:]
PM me with your eMail addy for the install.PDF
