Default Burnt Out Taillights?

so my blinker are going really fast and tree of my tailghts dont stay lit (one on the right two on the left)
now im wondering should i take this to Ford and just not be cheap or should i just do it myself, i'm kinda hesitant to take it to the dealer cause i have sequentials
so how hard is it to change my bulbs myself?

You can pretty much bet that Ford would try to pin it on your sequentials....Do it yourself. It takes about 10 minutes...
Remove the trunk liner that covers your spare tire. Remove the plastic shroud on the rear, which is 4 push pins and two threaded plastic pins...remove the three tail light nuts on each side, as you can see in the attached photo. Taillight pushes right out the back. Be careful, cover your rear bumper so you don't scratch it....

From what I remember, you just twist the bulb out. It's super easy. I had to replace one of my blinkers last month.

It took about 10 minutes. Bought the bulbs at Autozone for a few dollars.

The bulb housing twists out with a quarter turn. They will only go back in one way. The bulb itself just pulls straight out, and pushes back in.....

i've had two burn out in 36k miles (seems rather cheap of them if you ask me) but i do remember that when i went to autozone they didnt have the right part number. they did however, have the next brighter (or was it dimmer) bulb in stock and when i installed it you couldnt tell the difference.

PROTIP: be sure you dont touch the bulb itself or your new one will not last as long as it should
