How do you like this hood?
I guess it depends on what other mods you have planned for your car. If the overall appearance screams 'AGRESSIVE', then the Ram Air would be good. If, OTOH, your style is more laid back, then the '67 would be better. The '67 is what I want to put on my white vert with black stripes.
Well, again, it's what you want to have. I like the Type IV, personally (and second the sentiment on the extractors). It's got that whole 68 GT500 vibe, and is almost exactly the hood I've wanted since I saw the new body. (The Trufiber GTS-3 is even closer). That said, the 67 (which I prefer as it's a little more subtle) and the RamAir has got the whole 67 GT500 vibe.
That said, all the hoods are available with an optional RamAir ducting to direct the airflow over to the stock air box location. If you're using a normal intake location all of those will work well for you. The Type IV, being open right at the the front though, makes for interesting possibilities with a modified intake setup, like the Western MotorSports High Velocity Intake, leading to an honest to god Ram Air setup. The 67 and Ram Air hoods are set too far back for a system like that.
Basically, if you're using a stock air box location I vote for (based on looks, as I have no idea of durability, etc) Trufiber GTS-3 (okay, so it wasn't actually asked about, but I think it's probably the best looking hood you can get right now with a stock front end) followed in a VERY close second by the Type IV (preferably with the billet heat extractors), then the 67, and finally the Ram Air.
If you're as intrigued as I am by the possibility of an honest Ram Air intake, the Type IV is really the only choice.
