Default 2005 Roush HELP

I have a 5 speed 2005 Roush Stage 2 with 12K miles on it. Tonight I was coming from work(about 9 miles from home) and when I stopped at a light I shifted to neutral. As I accelerated and placed it in gear I felt a power loss and I noticed that the yellow wrench on the dash came on. The car fell like it lost 150HP. I drove home around 40mph but very weak. When I got home, I shut the car off and restarted right away, the wrench was gone and car felt the same again. Anyone elese have this problem or know what it might be, all help appreciated it. Thank You

It threw a code to the computer so the car went into safety mode. The code was a mistake most likley caused by random chance or "gremlins" so there could be nothing to worry about. It shouldn't happen again. Your car thought it might damage the engine for a split second for example.

Oh man thanks, I been researching this and found someone with same problem, a restart cleared it. Maybe I should buy the Ford ESP warranty, but they want $2700 for it. Ouch

That's not really useful, but it's your call. It sounds like Roush made their tune very slightly improperly and it's CAUSING gremlins to appear. You might want to contact Roush about it. Then again it could be luck and the guy had a different paramiter go out of the safe zone momentarily.

Legion5 - if he had pulled over and restarted the car when it happened would it have cleared everything right then?
