If I were to pick up the 18"x9" DD Bullitswill my stock tires fit without looking weird or not being safe??
They are the 255/50/18 KDWS of course.
I don't see why the wouldn't, they say best tire fitment is 255/45/18, so mine will be slightly taller yes?

i have 275/35/18 KDWS all around on 18x9 FR500's...same rim size just different style...i think they look just fine...i dont see why your's would look bad

The recommended wheel width for 255/50/18 is 7-9".

Are you sure that you have 255/50"s? The OE GT size is 235/50, and the OE GT500 front tire is 255/45. BFG doesn"t even list a 255/50 in their KDWS lineup (http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/specs...a-kdws/40.html ).

My point is that the KDWS (and all the other tire brands/models I looked at) list 8.5 as the widest that you should be putting 235/50"s on. Half an inch above spec isn"t going to be a "bust", but as one of theknown downsides you do give up curb protection for the rim.

Oh crap you are right.
The 18" Polished ALU come with 235/50/18 on KDWS on them, I don't know why I was thinking they were 255.
Hell that means I would have to buy new tires anyway...crap!!
