I have made the kit for older ford products before sequential kits were available
but when I saw the CDC for $75, I just couldnt resist. Thats by far cheaper than
the time I would have spent working up a PIC for the project.
Self proclaimed not, school trained, yes.
Why reinvent the wheel?
There are many requirements that need to be met so the SJB does not think a bulb
is burned out while they are sequencing.
Reinventing what someone else offers for $75 is just plain stupid. Time is $$
and the older you get, the less time you have to enjoy life instead of designing
what someone else has already done for you. I would rather work1 saturday
and earn the $75 required instead of writing PIC code for homemade sequentials.
Any motor builders casting their own blocks, I think not.

Kind of surprised he didn't make his own. He is a self proclaimed electrical engineer.

157db,
Where did you get the CDC kit with a $75.00 core refund? Are you saying you paid $149 and
got $75 of that back when you mailed in the core?? That is by far the best deal around and I
want some of that action...Post a link please.

I hear you. I just meant self proclaimed because you said it was so. Not that you were some shadetree. If I had your talents, I might tabble in a few "homemade" things. I'm a carpenter and have built my own house.

Didn't you mount it behind the trunk liner so it's out of plain view anyway?
