Hey there guys,

Well, long story short, I was installing clear rear side markers, including new red leds. Well, I had them both in and I thought they were good to go but one wasn't properly in the holding, so I shut the car off and went to change it. I just left the lights on as I figured that I could quickly make sure the bulb is working. So I rotated the bulb and it lit up. Great right? Here's where the trouble begins. I went to start the car and it won't kick over, it sounds like its shorting out or something. I took the new LEDs out and put in the old bulbs, same thing, shorting out! What can I do to fix this!?! I'm about to throw the charger on the car hoping to kick it over, and just praying that its a battery issue.

shorting,you mean clicking noise?thats just a dead battery!

 

Why would it die so quickly though?

 

not sure, but I had the same problem last weekend. the ground was loose on my battery. I tightened it up and it was fine

 

check all the fuses??

 

I charged the battery, and rechecked the wiring/bulb harnesses and rotated each bulb I adjusted. Car fired up perfectly, and in the downtime between charging, I put on my new CDC Classic Chin Spoiler!

 

Your battery is onit's last legs. Get ready to replace it, next time you might not be at home or have easy access to help
