Also my first convertable, and I love it.
I actually like the profile of the vert better than the coupe, so look real good at both to see which you like.

I would also say get the cloth, as looks so sweet.
+1 Love the vert profile and wish my top was cloth.

hmm, thanx for all the input so far
i live in PA too so i wont get to enjoy the top down much.

i plan on a full cervini kit or mabye cervini + gt500 front end. i love the side exhaust

and of course some kind of supercharger. black/black or orange/black dunno yet

Actually,a stock GT vert is faster then a stock GT coupe. yes it weighs more, however, the extra weight from added structure support is right where it needs to be. Over the rear wheels. The GT vert is 2 tenths faster in the qtr. (Automatic) And as they say, "you can look up"!

BTW. Get the vert!

Convertible FTW!!! Although it becomes task getting gas in this car weather it's a vert or coupe because everyone ask you about the car.

Ilive in PA too so i wont get to enjoy the top down much.

??? Not sure where you are in PA butI'llhave the top down a lot(always?) Aprilthru October and willstill get quite a fewdaysNovember thru March. If it's a little too cool, throw on a heavy sweatshirt, put windows up and heater on and you're set. There's no colder person on the planet than my wife andevenshe's ok with it.

Also, as I said earlier, the Stang vert tops are really quiet and comfortable up in winter.
