Well if the 4.10s lowered my cars top speed I didn't feel it. I pegged my speedo at 4kish in 5th.

 

I know I've seen it somewhere but not sure where on the site. What exactly is it I'll need?

4.10s- 410As right? not 410M
Master Install kit?
2 quarts of friction modifier?

 

I paid the most here and that was 950 gears with all the necessary $hit installed. Call it expensive but It's fast.

 

I did 3 qts of Royal Purple 75w140. Since theyre just broken in, I'm going to change the oil with 2 quarts RP and 1 quart additive. I suggest Brenspeed for the gears and shims.

 

i got a question about gears too since im about to pull the trigger on some.i have an auto gt with a 100 shot of nitrous and i drag race almost every week,my question is do you guys recommend 4.10s for drag racing with auto and spray or should i go smaller size.another thing is i notice they have 3.93s or something like that, how comepeople actually dont use 3.93s as much as 3.73s or 4.10s.sorry to sound such a newbee but i dont know much about the gears ,and the search still down.

 

I think people shy away from the 3.90's cause they are not offered by FRPP.

Margaritas right about the 3.90s. As far as them or the 4.10s, the 3.73s are the choice for auto. I would think that's even further cemented by a hundred shot.

 

you just need a small bottle of friction modifier, not a whole freaking quart of that ****.....3 quarts fluid, 1 small bottle of friction modifier......look in the manial for the actual fill specs, its like 2.4 qts i think though
