also consider a TB, they go hand in hand with a cold air
Throttle bodies are useless unless you're pushing big number 550+whp. You'll gain nothing from a bigger throttle body on a normally aspirated engine.
I guess this is why we still have people buying them and then coming on the board within a week saying the car is broke!
Over 600HP and I think that my BBK TB was the worst investment ever. Even after tuning I oly see 19HP gains at best! Not even enough to feel in this combo! If I did it all over again, it would be the last resort, squeeze all I can out of the motor mod!

19 from the BBK Throttle body isnt that good ? the site says only like 10hp or do you mean between CAI and TB which I would agree is horrible

he has over 600hp and added the bbk TB then he got the 19hp gain.. very low percentage of gain there.

Thats why I thought it was damned near worthless

It would be like adding 9HP to a near stock GT. you would never notice it!

Good luck when the wife finds out [&:]

Seriously I split it 50/50 ($1800)with my wife so she couldn't say a word about anything I spent my half on. Of course I couldn't say anything about her spending either. [&o]

Was that $1800 apiece or combined? If it were apiece then how many dependants do you have. You must be that family on tv John and Kate plus 8! hahahah LOL
