Default how do I adjust the door lock pin depth

I just put a bunch of steeda billet interior pieces in my 2005 mustang including the billet hollow point door lock pins. the passenger side works fine, but the drivers side pin doesn't let the door lock when it is screwed in all the way. for now I am just leaving it not screwed in all the way and the door is locking, but I want to know how to change the door lock pin depth like the warning said on the package of the door lock pins. thanks.

Lock the door and screw the pin down sothe **** on the pinjust clears the base while locked, and keep it there. If the pin is loose then use some teflon tape or low adhesionlocktite to secure it.
