good luck buddy. def get the 5-speed. i wouldn't be able to handle the throttle lag on the auto. make sure you get the 3.55 gears though. just that much better out the hole than the 3.31's they put in stock. plus it was a $100 option. if you get another set of gears (i.e. 3.73 or 4.10's it will end up costing you a few houndred dollars more. and yes don't get the shaker 1000. i didn't want to shaker 500 i got bc of all the horror stories i heard of everyone calling it the skipper 500 and 1000. but all and all i have been happy with it. not sure whatelse you can add to an 08 that you couldn't add in 07. good luck with the search.

 

hey virginiastang, what type of wheels do you have on ur ride. are they black chrome or is it just the pic.

sorry to th op for jumpin on your thread just been trying to decide if i wanted black chrome on mine.

 

They're Chrome GT500 Replica's.... if you could find them in black chrome, they'd probably look great!!! I guess the overcast sky sort of makes them look black chrome.
