run extra wire across the firewall and then install your switch whatever you want it to look like wherever you want!
I did mine almost identical to degeze
just mines over to the left more and its a basic black switch

why is there this wire?
well do you not have a button on your remote???? how do you think the trunk pops by the remote? there is a prevision in the sjb for this task but no external in car control for this so what do you do? interupt the wire and switch source it to ground, as soon as it gets ground pop goes the trunk

easy mod, makes you grin everytime you use it cause you actually modded the car and made your car more convienient and comfortable...

most mods after a while you get tired of or wish you did different of just rattle too much or is too loud or maybe ford did that for a reason awwwww

everyone who wants to mod for the better of the car... do this period

Exactly.
For me it is easier to get to than installing it in the glove box, yet discreet enough where you can't see it with the door closed. My original idea was to install it on the inside of the drivers door pull handle, but I quickly noticed that was difficult to reach with the door closed due to how far back the handle is.
