Mine arrived today. Test fit looks pretty good... Now off to paint!
Does that cross bar behind the front seat offer any rigidity to the vert. My vert has just a lottle cowel shake and I'd like to minimize it.

I can't use a drop down style ram air hood on my car. I wouldn't reccomend it for anyone with a K&N or other CAI. Your CAI filter would fall right underneath the ram air inlets on both of those hoods. Water/Dust/Rocks in your engine, anyone?
The entire point of the ram air configuration is to bring air into your air intake compartment. So I am pretty sure that the hoods have been designed with that in mind. In fact, there is even a "lip" area around the opening in the event that water should actually make it all the way to the intake. Plenty of people that live in areas with high rain fall have this hood and no one has reported problems with flooding their filter. As for dust, you don't think having a hole that opens up to the front bottom area of the car is going to bring dust in to your filter? That is why you have a filter isn't it? Rocks? If you have rocks that fly up into the hood, crash through the mesh screens over the intake vents, and have the velocity to make it through all the plumbing and come out at your air filter, you have more problems with your car than worrying about what is hitting the filter!

WHAT ABOUT...

Small Chickens!... those feathers will clog your filter real damn fast!

AND - you can't run your car while mowing grass... suck up all those grass clippings.

You won't be able to let your girl friend stand or lean in front of the car or it will suck her cloths off!

Yup.. you have to be careful with forward facing vent work on your hood!
