Even though 98% of legions post was pure smoke, this part is true (except that modaddict is actually making slightly less than 700rwhp, not 800). The adapter is made by Adam at spankin time motorsports in California. A couple of guys are running the kit, and trust me, they spent WAY more than $7K to do it.

Autotrader had a gray premium 06 GT manual loaded with 18" wheel package and only 3000 miles over in Boise ID last month. Asking price was 20,990.

 

no way you get 23k back for yours.....brand new 08s are selling for 2-3k more right now....21 maybe for yours but probably not even that unless you find a buyer who hasnt researched anything

So i'm gonna have to add my story into the mix.....a friend of mine with a 95 civic has a motor imported from japan and there is about $25,000 into the car....last night he got his *** handed to him by 2 350Zs....the only thing done to them is one has an exhaust, the other has an intake (i know they are my friends too) so basically do you want to put 30k into a civic and have it be slow or put 30k into a stang and at least have a decent car to drive around in....the choice is yours....seems easy to me

 

funny this thread popped off... I raced (if you can even call it that) a Civic SI the other day just for kicks.

By the time I hit second, I was peeling so far away from him I actually felt bad for the little bugger...lol. By the time I hit third, I could barely hear that fart can engine of his he was so far behind. [8D]

So, he pulled up to me at the next light and wouldn't even look me in the eye...LOL.
