I'm new to this forum, same as new to having purchased a GT Mustang. Vehicle has less than 900kms on it but has been down, still at dealership, since June 9 for diff issues. Car has a whine when coasting, very loud at 60-80 km/hr. Steady bearing has been relaced, no change. Then cover taken off diff to discover crown/pinion hard surfacing coming off. Repairs made but noise still there. Dealership requested a new diff assembly however not expected to arrive 'till next week.
Vehicle has had other issues such as broken windsheild(stress cracked), defective F/R tire(belt seperated), faulty radio, passenger window sensor but this diff has all baffled. Anyone experience something similar?
Thinking it made be an infamous "made on Friday" car dealership has been talking to me about a program Ford has called CUDL, where they may take vehicle back if enough issues have occurred. Anyone here of this program before? Having put a lot of $$$$ in car with Roush accessories, I want it to be a last option... but....
