BJsCobra, i know for a fact that the 2005 Saleen Extreme has not hit dealer showrooms yet. What dealer has this E your talking about. Not trying to be an ******* but the S281SC was just released 2 weeks ago. I've ordered a S281SC and have talked to the Saleen rep several time as of now no E.

This doesn't add up [&:] According to Birdieman (whom I would believe to be a VERY reliable source) he is to recieve the FIRST 05 S281E available to the public when they release in June to replace his 02 (or maybe it was 03) E car that was dealer totalled - and well documented here a few months back.

Looks like the there is 2 supercharged versions of the Saleen 'Stang on top of the base coupe.
Saleen SC (Supercharged) at 400HP
and
Saleen E (Extreme) also supercharged to 500 HP, HOLY CRAP! that's a lot of ponys'!

nobody is an ******* here, we all drive fords, mustangs that is. anyway you can call my brother in law at 847-439-9500 (Larry Roesch Ford) in ElkGrove Village Ill. Ask for Danny Carter. He sold the wild pony for $54,000. Im ordering the CobraGT500 which he has took two orders already, even though this bad pony dosen't come out untill next year.

I owe this great forum an apology, I am sorry. I penned my brother in law down today with some tough questions regarding the saleen extreme. He admitted that the extreme is not out yet. The two he received were the S281SC which he had already sold one for $54,000. Why he told me he had received an extreme i will never know. I gave him a few choice words, but i have to be somewhat good to him because i will be ordering a GT500 next year and im looking for a few dollars off.
