Default 2v.. 3v.. 4v..

Okay.. so i know alot about mustangs because ive eye balled them since i popped outta the womb but.. as far as some of the really mechanical stuff goes i try to learn as much as i can because aside from computers cars somes next.. now.. i know v stands for valve.. but whats better 2v.. 3v, 4v?? and why
please dont try and shove my face in the dirt if ya know what i mean haha

as a rule of thumb, the more valves the better because it allows more air flow, which could lead to more power because the more air there is the more fuel you can add. But you could also look at it in the way that a 2v engine with two large valves is equal to a 3v or 4v with smaller valves and so on.

now for the next techincal quesiton.. im going to get moire techincal as these get answered im trying to build my knowledge on this as much as possible.
where are the valves located on the engine and are these interchangeable or are they able to be made bigger?

Sorry but you can't just put bigger valves in a 2V to equal a 3V or 4V.
Ok draw a circle, now in that circle draw 2 circles that go edge to edge, now repeat with 3 then 4 circles.
You can clearly see 3 or 4 smaller valves will flow more than 2 slightly larger valves.
