I'm considering doingtri-bar badges on my GT, but concerned about it looking to bright (chrome) and V-6 like.

Has anyone here custom painted their tri-bar badging? Here is one I found on a post:



My Mustang is Vista blue, I would do vista blue / white / black stripes for the tribar, after making the badge satin (not chrome). I'm having the hardest time creating and sticking to a "theme" on my Mustang. I don't want a Shelby or V6 lookalike, I don't like the OEM badging on a GT, and My Mustang is not really "retro". Trying to find the right balance.

As a side note, are there tribar pony badges that are smaller (like 90's) than those on the 05+ V6? Smaller the better.

Someone painted them all silver and another all grey. I don't remember who it was. But you already posted the other one I was going to mention.

Does look a little ponyish to me. I have em on the horn and center wheel caps but that's where I draw the line.

Well when I do get mine, I plan on painting them to match the paint scheme of my caris there a certain way to go about doing this?
