Anyone know if you could just purchase the subwoofer unit of the 1000, and just install it in the trunk and wire it up to the shaker 500 head unit? I think i remember the salesman saying the head units are the same and the amp is self contained in the sub box. You think there's an output port in the back of head unit for it?????

Why not just remove the trunk lid and put a 24" 55lb Mag Woofer in that puppy!

heck... while your at it... nobody uses the back seat, you could get 2 more 24" Subs in that space easily!

SEMA would LOVE it!

I saw a car there, had like 47 TV's and 50 speakers mounted in it. I was curious though, where the driver sat!

I've had a couple cars that mysteriously lost the back seat, replaced by back-to-back pairs of 15s.

Getting too old for that now, but it's not like you could put an adult in the back seat anyway.

Me too, as well as kingcab trucks with no kingcab left. I am also too old for that and fortunately or unfortunately the kids will fit in the back.

In fact, if I take up too much room in the trunk the wife will look at it, look at me, and with a shameful disappointed look, many men an this board know all-to-well, and while nodding no she will mutter 'ridiculous'...... If she is in a bad mood I will get, and how much did all of this cost?
