Yup! And my pistol grip, short barrel 12 gaugefull of bird shot will keep them thinking about what a stupid thing they did as the Doctor plucks out each and every pellet, one at a time from their bleeding butts and ball sacks! lol

 

I got it off like 5 min after posting this....I tried pulling/unscrewing for a long time but it took so long i wasnt sure if I was doing it right. I also felt like if I used brute strength I would f something up....I didn't buy this for fear of stolen gas....I bought it to deter (sp) dumbasses from putting stuff in my tank. IMO its cheap insurance....sure its not fool proof but neither are radar detectors. The way I see it radar detectors and locking gas caps are like condoms with pinholes in the end.....still safer then not wearing one at all but not fool proof

 

get a stant locking gas cap, you can take the handle off the treaded part with a flat head screw driver. just put the flat head in where the lanyard goes and pry gently you dont need alot of force and it should pop off

 

Took me a little while but I just pulled and it ended up comin off. And no CEL for me

 

Or put some curry in your air intake.

 

I tried the Stant and when the lock slid right out from the cap I knew things were going to be bad.
I glued it in but when I saw I couldn't get the stock plastic ring off my cap I boxed it back up and eBayed it for more than I paid.
Got the locking fuel door instead FTW.
