I got an xcal 3 from a member on this forum. Im currently waiting for my intake to come in so I can get a custom tune from bamachips. Meanwhile I've used a preprogrammed tune and installed that. but theres so many options no there that one can adjust. Most of the stuff I can decide for myself but there are some real technical ones (ie. spark, air/fuel) . For the people currently using preprogrammed tunes, do you change those numbers or should i wait until i get my tunes and just use that.

just select the octane you got and basic settings but dont mess with the timming or spark or WOT fuel

If you dont have your intake installed yet, you shouldnt be loading any tunes at all, canned or custom. Wait till you have everything at once, CAI and tunes from Doug, then load it up and dont make adjustments. If you dont know what you are adjusting, then leave it alone because you may wind up on an island all alone with no help from the dealership. You are making a good choice going with Bamachips. Doug is an A+ guy and his tunes are great. You will have fun with the car after everything done. I would go back to stock and wait till you have everything.

Doug is great and the tunes are awsome. Put C&L, SCT 3and Doug's performance tune in last week. Car has not left the garge once that it didn't hit 100+mph somewhere in the trip.2ndand 3rd will pull like you have never felt never before. I don't feel like just another stock GT any more. 4:10's coming I hope soon to complete the set-up.
