New Mustang owner needing advice
Just bought a new '05 silver GT on Friday & haven't had a single regret (even when I found out I've got the messed up S1000 CD player & the fuel tank needs to be replaced). I just can't seem to wipe that big silly a$$ grin off my face whenever I drive it though...
I've got a couple of quick questions. I've already got the fever to do some mod's so I'm wanting to start with the exhaust, headers, CAI kit, & a dyno run.
1. Do I need to break the car in some or can I do it right away?
2. I'm near Lexington KY also- can anyone recommend a dependable shop to do the work that's nearby? I've got the skills but just don't have the time right now. If there aren't any choices in KY then Indianapolis is only 3 hrs away so I could go to Kenny Brown or Paul's Automotive Engineering in Cinci. is only an hour away from me.
3. From reading the forum I'll need to re-flash the ECU, right? I'm in KY now but in September I'm moving to San Diego- will I have to re-flash again to compensate for elevation, etc. changes? Will this require another dyno run?
Any advice is appreciated.
