That stinks, I had a cop pull me over once for exhaust too loud. I just had another cop friend sign the ticket as fixed and paid the reduce fine.

Some times they just gun for you.

 

It appears that I am a little older than most on here (43). I got stopped several months ago for what I was sure was the tinted taillight covers, cop followed me for 8 miles before pulling me over to tell me it was illegal to have a tinted tag cover. Being a little older and maybe not as fearful of a ticket or to dumb to care, I told him it was good to know that the county was so safe that this is all he had to do. Even with the attitude, he only gave me a warning, forgot where I put that.

Ha, yeah, I'm sure my day is coming. I have been pulled over and ticketed a handful of times for speeding, but nothing else was ever mentioned.

 

make it legal or learn "do you want fries with that"
your future is more important than" tints" just suck it up once your a f/fighter you'll be buddies with the cops then you can say screw the petty stuff and get away with it GOOD LUCK

 

thats awesome.. you know i at first was like.. ok this ******* is gunna pull me over today.. and i kept waiting and waiting and then finally i saw the lights.. and i was like.. hmm.. why am i not shocked?..

and the funny thing about it, i was doing everything i should have been doing.. minding my own business, doing all that, and seriously, the guy goes out of his way to stop me.. wtf

other night when the crew went to the drag strip, i got pulled over leaving my neighborhood. Cop was pretty cool, i wasnt speeding so i had no ideal why he was pulling me over. he asked me to get out of the car so he could show me why.

tinted tail lights
tinted tag
tinted headlights
tint to dark

said he would give me a couple months to fix it,hopefully i dont see him again cause i dont plan of fixing anything. he didnt write me a warning. had the nerve to ask how fast i ever had my car before,"man to man",i laughed and told him "never higher than the speed limit allows ,sir." told me he had his cruiser up to 131 so far, also made me laugh cause if he really did know how fast ive been he probably would have taken me to jail.

 

That sux gtstang....I remember when I lived in the Orlando area the orange and osceola county sheriffs had a hard on for tint pull overs...they loved to pull you over and write away on the tickets..glad to hear they did not write you a ticket, even happier they did not require you go in for a vehicle inspection...that is even worse as I have seen they really fck with you on those things. There was a guy who worked for me that was sent for a vehicle inspection at a certified inspection station for his tail light...when they inspected his vehicle they found numerous other infractions on his vehicle inlcuding tampering with federally mandated environmental protection emission standards...(basically had not cats on his camaro) he was fined out the wazoo and had to pay an approved exhaust shop to reinstall factory OEM cats....had to remove his headers etc..it was a complete nightmare...on top of that if he tried to sell the car without getting that done State of Florida was going to stamp his motor vehicle title as a Salvaged vehicle with a restricted title which would not have been cleared unless he performed those repairs which would have prevented a new owner from legally even registering the vehicle....so I am very glad to hear the cop warned you...as they have been know to bust stones for that sheeyat in the past...good luck with all your compliance issues and be careful out there....the po po love our stangs..

LOL at the fastest youve ever been thing.. i dunno what i would say in that situation.. i would want to tell him, but not wanna kick my self in the face after wards with cuffs on me..

and TJ.. thats freakin crazy man.. these are all reasons that im really considering getting rid of my car and back into a f150..

i hate to think of it, but if i got slapped with an inspection like that and they saw my O/R H and got serious about it.. i would ****..

i need to get into a vehicle that doesnt attract this attention, and also considering i need a truck for all my gear.. then when i start makin some more money, i can look into another stang or even a 04 cobra..

but damn.. bums me out just sittin here thinking about it, and the thought that im gunna have to spend atleast $200 to get this crap all fixed..
