so does that seem like something that would work?.. plus, i think half the reason i got cited for the tails was bc they were so dark.. they had about 8 or 9 coats of VHT nightshades on them.. normally people only use about 4 coats..
my friend has the GTS covers on his charger and you can clearly see his brake lights in the day time..
so maybe i will take this route.. im just scared that if he sees me again, and i have them on, im gunna get it up the *** even tho they are removable?

Never know what the guy will do, seems like he is on a power trip already that he has the time to pull people over for this stuff.
As far as the ticket clinic, it is a lawyer group that specializes in traffic tickets. They cost $60 and the represent you in court. You dont do anything.
They got both my tickets thrown out in court so I had $0 fine, and 0 points. Just cost me the $60 for them.
Very happy

Your tails are done with VHT NiteShades? I would take 'em off, throw some acetone or some other paint thinner on a rag, and start rubbing. I bought a BMW M3 that came with some extra taillights that a previous owner had spray-tinted, and that's all I did. It took some time, but it came off completely and the tails looked good as new. Now, I can't say exactly what brand of spray tint was on them, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was NiteShades. If you're ready to buy new tails anyway, it's worth a shot -- you might get your stock tails back for free.
Just make sure that the thinner you use doesn't soften the plastic. The one I used was fine, but I had a few different kinds in the garage at the time to experiment with.

ya.. i might do that.. i did the tail lights with VHT night shades.. they looked fckin really good, except, like 2 weeks ago, the clear coat starting peeling off bc i guess i wet sanded them too much.. i dunno.. so i actually was looking to do something about it anyways..
but man this sucks.. makes me want to get back into a truck just that much more bc of crap like this.. its a cop magnet.. no matter what
