Rubber on rear 1/4s after running at drags
#11
Those are really good times. I have a 93 tune and C.A.I. The best run I have made so far is a 13.6 in the 1/4 mile drag strip. But I am using the stock 17" tires and not lowering the psi in the rear tires, like I should.

Spent the day trying to find the RBL collision wrap seems like the best idea but only found one place that had it and it was on a roll 3' x 100' at a cost of $91.00 a little spendy will try to spend time searching the internet.
I am an automatic car with 3.31 gears. Here is the best times:
Reaction: +.2910
60 ft: 2.1631
1/8 mile: 8.8189 at 81.52mph
1/4 mile: 13.5021 at 103.57mph
This car shifts so hard I was asked about shifting and my responce was I put it in D and go. This car really turns on on the big end. The wheels are A/R Fusion not made now.

I never really get rubber on the 1/4s but I do get alot of chips in the inside part of the fender. There are white specks all on the paint and they won't come out. Is there any way to buff that or is it a lost cause?
BTW I think those are good times especially considering 3.31 AND auto

I use a set of mud flaps, but hold them on with the small black spring binder clips, then I use the spray Turtle Wax Ice, just spray it on and leave it once I get to the track. I get less "junk" on the quaters and what does get on the car just sprays off with the Ice.
