here is the link for the hood on mrt's site, and below it the only real 'pic' i could find (which was on mrt's site):

Wow...badass for the GT front fascia. I wonder what the heat extractors look like though (hopefully not fake, awful, nonfunctional plastic).

Looks Great. I have thought of doing that for the longest time. I figured it would look really close to the GT-500 front end without having to buy headlight, absorbers, etc.

Outstanding, this is now back on my want list. Although I am partial to the steeda cowl induction hood.

Awesome lime green car.

One thing I'd change...get some Silverhorse Racing Louvers. They look a lot more "factory-like". Also look more like the 1960's louvers.

I bought a GT500 lip a few days ago so I think I am going to try to mount it up to the Parnelli front. Looking at your bumper, do think it would mount properly?

Also, do you know if you can run the Ford Racing GT500 brake cooling ducts do the fog openings on this bumper?

And one last thing, how much did it cost to get your bumper painted? I know it varies by geographic region and what kind of shop you go to but in general, how much would you expect it to be?

Thanks for all of the great pictures.
I don’t think the GT500 lip would work. I’m not a 100% though. The best way to find out is email Saleen at customerservice@saleen.com. They will help you with anything you need. I was even able to get some awesome installation instructions for the front fascia and the HID lights.

The front fascia comes with a chin spoiler though. I bought it all in one big kit through Stage 3 Motorsports. It even came with a chrome accent that goes around the stock grille. I wasn’t able to use it because of the CDC grille that I have. http://www.stage3motorsports.com/pro...ascia_Kit.html

The two holes, that I currently have the driving lights in, originally came with two grilles that match the lower grille. I’m sure you could get some kind of brake cooling ducts to work. You might again want to contact Saleen.

As for the cost of getting the bumper painted, I think I was able to get a good deal. I paid between $300 to $400, but that also included getting the duck tail painted.

I hope I was able to answer all your questions. If you have any more questions please don’t hesitate to ask.

The MRT hood is functional - and the heat vents have the turn signals as found on the original 1968 hood. The windshield washer is mounted in the cowl so it is hidden from sight.
