it depends on what the the TB cost is. I thought the JDM kit was 400 and the adapter was only 100. Could be wrong though. I got my kit for 230 used but the plate is special and not all TB plates work.

The JDM spacer is 200 bucks I did not feel comfortable buying from RPMoutlet from all the troubles I heard about them.

The plastic coupling adapter will not fit the gt500 throttle body. I ended up trying to force my steeda black plastic adapter on and it was such a tight fit I wasn't happy with it.

I needed to drill slots at the screw holes on the throttle body then connect it all together. It was really easy.

140.00 Throttle body
200.00 Spacer
50.00 Coupling
4.00 Clamps

The reason you need a spacer is is the valves on the throttle body will not fully open. They push against the back and or the sides of the intake opening.

you can port your blower opening but you need to remove it to do that and I didn't feel like removing the top of the blower at this time. ( this is on a saleen supercharger )

Well I'm getting the Ford throttle body. I might take my chances w/ RPM outlet because theres comes w/ the bolts, spacer, and hose.

JDM's comes with all that too but I purchased just the hose alone in hope that I can make the throttle body work without the spacer.

Good luck with RPM outlet
