Default found some exhuast probs

found out the rattle that drove me insane, it was the passenger side pipe rubbing agaist the trunk floor, just to the side of the spare tire housing. i have no idea how to extend the hanger or get it off the housing, any ideas on a fix without replacing the hangers?

Maybe go back to the original installer and
complain to them about the problem and
see what they can do about fixing it.

i will check into that possibility, the curve is its a factory x pipe and i had the boomtubes welded in the tail pipes, but around the x pipes, the factory clamps are still in place. you think for 150$ for labor of welding 2 pipes in place they would line everything up. the nut kick of it is that i took it back that they want to charge another 150 to look at it, as it dosent have a warrenty. apparently i need to quit my day job and be a wirefeed welder

I am having the same problem with my exhaust I believe and mine is supposely completely stock as far as I know. I think the problem with mine is the rubbers are so croded from the salt and water here in ohio that they have a lot of play in them. I may try replacing the rubbers and see what happens. Should be an easy and cheap fix.
