Thumbs down SSINSERTS - HORRIBLE!

Ok, i just need to vent for a second. So here is what just happened...

I have been looking for the shelby gt-h billet grille in gloss black. I found it on 5 differant sites, 4 of them are sold out. The 5th one, ssinserts has it, BUT they are asking $20 more than everyone else. So I call them and ask if they price match, the guy says "on what". I say "the shelby gt-h grille in black". He says "no one else has it cheaper". So I say "well actually shelbyperformancparts.com has it for $109 and so does partscheap.com . His response in a very arrogant tone "well go get it from them then". So i reply by saying "thats just what i'll do" and hang up.

So it probably doesnt sound that bad but just the way the POS acted and talked to me really pissed me off. I will NEVER buy from them. I'll wait the 3 weeks they are back ordered, save $20 and not have to deal with their attitude. Worst customer service ever!

Thanks for the info... I dont appreciate people like that either.. a nice sorry we cant price match woulda worked.. I wont buy from them either...

I work in a restaurant and i deal with all kinds of people but the only time i give a rude tone is if people are bitching about how long they had to wait to get a seat...but i really dont shop anywhere with poor customer service.

Thats why i love American Muscle. They are always happy to help even if you have a dumb question.

no problem guys. i think he was pissed i showed him up. He sounded so sure of himself when he said that no one had it cheaper than them. Then i called him out and gave him web addresses right to them he got mad and pretty much in other words told me to F off.

yes agreed 100%. that guy is an ***hole. very arrogant. I ordered upper and lower grilles for my car about two years ago from them and had some issues even sent him some pictures email as we spoke on the phone. The name Steve comes to mind for some reason. He actually said that I should have the grilles installed at a shop because I didnt know what I was doing. I explained to him my background in metal fab and he said " oh, sorry sir". I ended up ordering from another vendor. They will never get anymore of my money.

Sorry about that Nate....

We ordered Karen's AC and headlight **** overlays from them, and they were flawless...BUT....I never had to call and speak to anyone......I too, am in a very Customer Service oriented business. I do not blame you one bit. I would do the same as you, for a lousy 5 or 10 bucks if they gave me that kind of crap........Lots of other sellers out there......Perhaps they need to watch the evening news once in awhile, and see what is happening to companies a lot larger and more secure than theirs.......
