my guess is you will notice a difference with the lower c/r but u still are going to have more cubes..

you wouldn't have to run really low compression especially if you were going with all forged internals. so the difference from the stock block to the modular 302 would be significant. and then of course once you added the F.I. it would be even more significant.

but if you have high compression before you go forced induction wont it raise the compression to where you cant use pump gas octane?

That all depends on how high you go and if you are using aluminum heads and all that jazz. I've seen guys run 11:1 on pump gas with some good flowing aluminum heads, but that's as high as I've ever seen.

BTW that was a V8 and the motor was built for N/A only.

ya i have heard that 11 is about the highest you can go...but i have heard of some 12s he should prolly just ask them about it...
