To answer 2 questions: hp and sound.
I had the 3" Magnapak on first, then installed the shorties. I totally expected the noise level to go up. But they seemd to have actually lowered the decibels a notch or two. The exhaust ended up getting a sort of "pulse" to it that didnt seem to be there before. Its not bad in any way, just different.
HP: My car was on ProChargers dyno with just the S/C and hit 450rwhp. This is during April in Kansas, ie, 60s and low humidity. Then the following August, same dyno, after Magnaflow and BBK installation, it hit 459rwhp during a 95-100 or so degree day with probably 60-70% humidity. Thats the best I can give you on what to expect.

Id go with the cdc first cause the headers u dont see much and probably wont notice that much. but every time you walk out to ya car you will see the cdc so thats why I say go for that

i'm not too familiar with this, but is there a major difference in ceramic or chrome coating as far as longevity or performance (like does ceramic keep the metal stronger at higher heat than chrome does). i guess, is there any major benefits getting ceramic over chrome (or vice-versa)

ceramic looks better longer and they run cooler than chrome, and yes that is the ones I have in the pic!

they will still run cooler then the stock manifolds I read soemwhere so its still a upgrade and then thats just another excuse to get a functional heat extracting hood.

I am actually going to be getting these jet coated black when I purchase them.

where did you grab yours from 06elnr?
