Recommendations please for a mufflers/catback and CAI?

I was in Las Vegas this past week and visited the Shebly plant, OMG To bad I can't afford 100k for a Shebly GT500KR They even had a Super Cobra, lucky bastard who owns that car! I would kill for a silver GT500KR with the blue racing strips, OMG, but the dealer markups on these cars are a crying shame. I don't have $40k just to donate to my local dealership and that's just for them, the car is another $60k.

TIA, David!
Congrats David, you will enjoy the car a lot!!! I have had 5 mustangs & still have a 1990 & these new cars are exremely well put together.

As far as a CAI, I have a C&L Racer, on a side note with these new cars a lot of the CAI need a tune as well if not the car will run lean. This was not the case on the older cars. The pro's is that most CAI & a decent tune (SCT, Predator, & a Brenspeed or Bama tune) will net you 20 to 30 hp. Great bang for the buck!

As far as exhaust, most do an axle back as a basic system. I have a set of flowmasters for sale on the board (S197 classified). I currently have a muffler delete on my car.

Good Luck

Mike

I have an 07 with a MAC cold air intake, VMP 93 octane tune, GTA mufflers and aftermarket wheels and tires. The engine is very strong, the ride is pretty good, but the car won't handle like a tiny Jap car in the twisties. If you have the one color interior (light graphite) its pretty plain, but then again, for the price, this car is great. This stang is definitly a keeper, I plan on having it forever!
