Ever Regret...?
I hear ya!!. I am seriously considering going back to my Shaker 1000 and adding an iPod interface
Well, part of the 'pain' is getting what you 'THINK' you want and later realize it wasn't that good of a choice.
I was talking the other day about some stuff like this, and the great thing about the internet and these forums is you can do a lot of research ahead of time before deciding on something...if you can resist the "I gotta have it" urge...which can be hard to do.
But we all buy things or make mods that in hindsight wish we hadn't done; but how many of those have you actually made compared to decisions and things you changed once you actually found more info.
It is inevitable, the more mods you make, the more likely some will not have been good choices. Some are easily undone with little financial pain, while others aren't.
Probably the worst regrets I have are trying to stick with the stock 7.5 rearend too long instead of just upgrading to an 8.8 much earlier; after going through a tcloc and gear install and such and spending a goog $1000 on the 7.5 rear, later going with a stronger 8.8 made the whole 7.5 modding irrelevant. Luckily I was able to sell it and get something out of it.
That's mainly been it; a few other small things here and there, and maybe some suspension things that might not work out well for my needs.
There will always be something else or different we'll want to do or wish you haven't done. Enjoy what you've done with your baby and have fun!

The only real regret I have is I wish I would of put the Mole Skin on before I got the door windows tinted, now there srcatched and so I will have to do now and get windows retinted. I do wish I had put 18's on instead of the 17's but I'll live w/ that. Most time I just do a lot of searching and looking at others rides before I decide to go through w/ a mod.
I regret selling LL 06'GT and the GTA's off my 07'GT. I have no regrets getting the 07' though.I really miss that little 96" Eddie Bauer F-150 on the street. It had less than 50K mile when I sold it three years ago.

My Corsa X-midpipe. Didn't free up anything really that noticeable performancewise, and I think change the sound of my exhaust differently than I wanted.
Would be nice to get my $300 or so dollars back, but then I'd have to get my stock H-pipe back, which for all intents and purposes ain't happening. Oh well. Still cool to have it under ther.
